Bretagne in Depth (Watercolor series)
Bretagne in Depth is a series of watercolors created while at Ile aux Moines, an island off the coast of France. The particularity of the island is to be in the middle of gulf called Gulf of Morbihan. "Legend says that there are as many islands in the Gulf as there are days of the year." From the island of Ile aux Moines, every time you look out from a beach you have an incredible scenery of tiny islands and the coast of the continent behind them. Depending on the tide, new islands appear in the horizon, changing the landscape at different hour of the day. Algees gather along the beach, and over old oyster reefs.
